Issac Mance is an advocate for digital equality and engagement. He is very passionate about civic and social causes impacting minorities, low-income and working class citizens.
Issac is an experienced marketer with over 20 years of managerial marketing. His extensive background includes marketing for Fortune 500 companies such as Cisco, Target, Proctor & Gamble, Bank of America and Food Lion.
He now runs a boutique marketing firm, Mission WOW.
He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has a MBA from Wake Forest University.

Smart Cities Committee Chairman
John served as the mayor of the city of Tallahassee from 2003 until 2014. During his tenure, he was a member of the Florida League of Cities and the Florida League of Mayors, serving terms as president of both statewide organizations. He also served as Chairman of the U.S. Conference of Mayors Transportation and Communications Committee and served eight years on the Florida Public Service Commission and as Chairman for two years.
He was honored by the American Public Power Association (APPA) with the prestigious E. F. Scattergood System Achievement Award for Tallahassee becoming a leading authority on smart grid innovation and its effectiveness of the City’s Energy Smart Plus (e+) initiatives.

John heads the Master’s Information Technology Program at Florida State. His career has focused on the social implications of broadband Internet and new media technologies. He is the Chair of the Master’s in Information Technology program at Florida State University’s College of Information.
John serves on the Advisory Board of the InNOLEvation Accelerator at the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship. The “InNOLEvation Accelerator” is designed to give students a launch pad for starting their own business. John received his B.S. degree in 1999 from Harvard and his Juris Doctorate in 2003 from Columbia University.
